Community Midwifery WA
Community Midwifery WA is a non-profit organisation providing education and support to birthing women.
CMWA also runs the Community Midwifery Program - a government funded homebirth program.
CMWA is currently not taking women with a previous caesarean for the homebirth program.
However, they have a well stocked library and can provide information on VBAC and positive caesarean planning. They run regular workshops on planning a VBAC. They also run mother's groups.
Community Midwifery has resource centres in Fremantle, Leederville and Joondalup.
